Dr. Marcel Hazeu, Professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and Research Fellow at the Humanitarian Study Centre, ISS (University of Rotterdam). Marcel leads the research group Society, Territory and Resistance in the Amazon. He is a renowned researcher who combines academic work with grassroots engagement. He will contribute with unique knowledge and experience of Amazonian realities from the inside.
Dr. Susanne Normann, Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. Susanne holds a PhD in Psychology, researching the experiences of Amazon communities in Brazil and their lived experiences of climate change and green extractivism.

Karen researches green city transition and its interconnection between the Global North and Global South.
