I november skal verdens ledere møtes på årets klimaforhandlinger (COP30) og det med et dystert bakteppe: Verden styrer mot 2.7 graders oppvarming og ambisjonsgapet til landenes klimamål er enormt. Vi ønsker å samle klimaforskere, politikere og aktivister til en felles markering, hvor vi krever at Norge hever sine klimaambisjoner!
FNs synteserapport kom 28.oktober, og tallene er dramatiske: Vi er milevis unna å nå 1,5-graders målet. For å bremse denne utviklinga må Norge ta sitt historiske ansvar gjennom økt klimafinansiering og økte klimamål.
Vi krever at Norge:
- Øker ambisjonene i de nasjonale målene (NDC-ene).
- Slutter med dobbeltmoral og tar sitt historiske ansvar gjennom økt klimafinansiering og øke egne nasjonale mål (NDC).
- Arbeider for en oppfølging av vedtaket fra COP28 om “omstilling bort fra fossil energi” - uten falske løsninger.Det vil bli appeller og servering av boller og kaffe.

En noviembre, los líderes mundiales se reunirán en las negociaciones climáticas de este año (COP30), con un panorama sombrío: el mundo se encamina hacia un aumento de temperatura de 2,7 °C y la brecha de ambición entre los objetivos climáticos de los países sigue siendo enorme. Queremos reunir a científicas y científicos del clima, políticos y activistas en un acto conjunto para exigir que Noruega eleve sus ambiciones climáticas.
El informe de síntesis de la ONU se publicó el 28 de octubre y las cifras son alarmantes: estamos a años luz de alcanzar el objetivo de 1,5 °C. Para frenar esta tendencia, Noruega debe asumir su responsabilidad histórica mediante un aumento de la financiación climática y objetivos nacionales más ambiciosos.
Exigimos que Noruega:
- Aumente el nivel de ambición de sus metas climáticas nacionales (NDC).
- Ponga fin a la doble moral y asuma su responsabilidad histórica mediante una mayor financiación climática y objetivos nacionales más sólidos.
- Trabaje para dar seguimiento a la decisión de la COP28 de “transicionar fuera de los combustibles fósiles”, sin recurrir a falsas soluciones.
Habrá discursos y se servirán bollos y café.

In November, world leaders will meet at this year’s climate negotiations (COP30) against a grim backdrop: the world is heading toward 2.7°C of warming, and the ambition gap between countries’ climate targets remains enormous. We want to bring together climate scientists, politicians, and activists for a joint gathering to demand that Norway raise its climate ambitions!
The UN synthesis report was released on October 28, and the numbers are alarming: we are miles away from reaching the 1.5°C goal. To slow this trajectory, Norway must take historical responsibility through increased climate finance and more ambitious national targets.
We demand that Norway:
- Raises the ambition level of its national climate targets (NDCs).
- Ends its double standards and takes historical responsibility through greater climate financing and stronger domestic targets.
- Works to follow up on the COP28 decision to “transition away from fossil fuels” — without relying on false solutions.
There will be speeches and serving of buns and coffee.
